I have asthma and got a wicked cold. For the past few days I've been using a vaporizer when I sleep. Am I royally messing myself up? Should I avoid adding moisture to my environment as a rule? How dry to we need to be, if dry at all?

The purpose of using a vaporizer is to put enough steam into the air so that the steam will loosen the mucous in your breathing passages to allow you to breathe without difficulty (labored breathing).
